Schools have been given further information following the attempted abduction of two schoolgirls.
New information has also been released about the suspects, a man and woman in their 50s with a white transit van.
The man is described as having cropped hair and the woman is described as having a bob style haircut.
Following a warning to parents, every school in the area has been given information so parents are aware of the facts and that investigations are ongoing.
Enfield Borough Council’s cabinet member for education, children’s services and protection, Councillor Ayfer Orhan, said: “We are aware of the incident in Southbury Road last week and can confirm that the Metropolitan Police distributed information to all schools in the borough so parents could be made aware of the facts and be reassured that the incident is being investigated fully.
“The safety and security of young people in Enfield is a key priority of Enfield Council’s and we will continue to work with the police, schools and parents to keep children safe and teach them how to keep themselves safe and well. We would urge anyone with information about this incident to contact the police.”
Police say no similar incidents have been recorded since the attempted abduction last week.
