A school is using the old boy network to inspire pupils to success.
Kingsmead School, in Southbury Road, Enfield, will be taking part in the Future First scheme.
Former pupils will meet today's schoolchildren in workshops and talk to year 11 students about their career paths.
Headteacher Yvonne Barry said: “We signed up to Future First’s scheme straight away.
"Many former Kingsmead students have wonderful and worthwhile careers in all spheres of life. Sharing valuable experience is one of a number of strategies we use to broaden current students’ jobs horizons, raise their aspirations and equip them for the world of work.”
The school is calling out for former pupils to take note and help the current crop of students towards success.
