DETECTIVES investigating the suspected murder of a man in Hillingdon have arrested a second man.

The 30-year-old was arrested at around 8pm last night and is currently in custody.

Police were called by an ambulance crew to a home in Ryefield Avenue yesterday lunchtime following reports of an assault.

Officers found an unconscious man receiving emergency treatment. The 42-year-old died at the scene.

Next of kin have been informed and a post-mortem will be held this afternoon.

A man in his 50s was arrested in connection with the assault and is being held at a West London police station.

An incident room has opened under Det Chief Insp Neale Baldock of the Homicide and Major Crime Command.
