A man has been charged with intending to supply cannabis and five more have been arrested.
Police raided what they described as a "business premises" in Sedge Green, Nazeing, yesterday and arrested six men on suspicion of being involved with drug supply.
John Twitchings, 61, of Oak Avenue in Enfield, was charged with having 72kg (about 160lb) of cannabis with intent to supply it.
He is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court today.
A 60-year-old man from Harlow, a 43-year-old man from Roydon, a man aged 45 from Enfield, a 43-year-old man from Nazeing and a 39 year old man from Harlow have been bailed until November 26.
