On camera: You could help CCTV operators monitor incidents
A number for anyone in the borough to use to notify CCTV operators of any issues or of something to monitor, has been set up.
By sending a simple text, that includes location and information on any incident, this system will make it easier to pinpoint CCTV footage or keep track of a situation.
Pubs and bars in Elmbridge have been introduced to the number, and can use it if they are about to remove a customer from their premises and think it would be wise to monitor.
The number to text is 07766 332288 and does not replace calling the police.
