A controlled explosion has been carried out in Erith after the discovery of unexploded bombs.
Police were called at 3.41pm on Friday (September 5) to reports of shells - believed to be from the Second World War - discovered at a site in Church Manor Way.
Officers attended and a controlled explosion was carried out.
