Walton Voices is looking for new members to celebrate 80 years of performing within the community.
The group will sing carols especially written for the anniversary by the new musical director, Jonathan Kilhams, on December 13.
Mr Kilhams said: "I am delighted with the progress we have made in building the choir's repertoire and reputation, and the quality of our performances has got better and better.
"We have a very exciting season ahead - we aim to have 80 performers for our 80th birthday, with involvement from local schools and other talented musicians."
Anyone wanting to join in can attend sessions on Wednesday evenings at Walton Methodist Church, Walton, at 8pm.
