Two teenage boys have been charged with a number of robberies and the theft of moped.
Between Tuesday, August 26, and Wednesday, August 27, six robberies were reported across Wandsworth, Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea.
The suspects allegedly approached people, snatched their bags and escaped on a stolen motor scooter.
A 15-year-old boy from Streatham has been charged with six counts of robbery, carried out on a motor vehicle taken without the owner’s consent.
A 16-year-old boy from Shepherd’s Bush has been charged with six counts of robbery, theft of a motor vehicle, driving while disqualified and using a motor vehicle in a public place without third party insurance.
Both have been remanded to appear at Isleworth Crown Court on Thursday, September 23.
