A green-themed event will take place in Tottenham on Saturday as the council promotes its carbon-cutting ways.
The Green Fair, run by Haringey Council, will see stalls with treats from traders, a craft fair and a free give-or-take market, where people can swap unwanted items.
The event, starting at 11.30am on Tottenham Green, will also feature music, children's entertainment annd health workshops.
Councillor Joe Goldberg, cabinet member for economic development, social inclusion and sustainability, said: “We know people in Haringey are rightly proud of the environment and as a council we want to support residents in making the small steps that together can make a big difference in cutting carbon emissions.
“We’re determined that Haringey should be a leader in green industry, creating new jobs in a market that will only grow and helping come up with innovative ways of making our borough a greener place.
“Our Green Fair brings together some of our best food, entertainment and eco-friendly businesses for families to have a fun day out and get great tips on sustainable living.”
