Sassy the Staff, Doberman and German Shepherd-cross is officially the happiest dog.
She was nominated by Bernadette Paddington from Bromley who said she loves giving kisses, playing with other animals and looking after the family’s cats.
Bernadette said: “She is so loving and caring, she meets me every time I come through the door, she knows when I am ill or upset and will always comfort me even more than normal.”
She added: “She is great with children and lets them do anything with her.
“With pregnant women she understands not to jump up, the same as she is with frail and elderly people.
“She won the competition for the dog with the waggiest tail, beating over 45 other dogs, and it was announced not only as the dog with the waggiest tail but the happiest dog there that day. I was so pleased.”
