Two underground lines running through the borough will be partially suspended this weekend for engineering work.

The Metropolitan Line will be down on Saturday August 30 and Sunday August 31 between Aldgate and Uxbridge/Northwood.

There will also be no Chiltern Railways service between Marylebone and Amersham.

Transport for London says the line will be down will it replace track at Dollis Hill and renew points at Harrow-on-the-Hill.

On the same days there will be no service on the Jubilee Line between Stanmore and Waterloo while engineers carry out tunnelling work at Bond Street.

TfL says replacement bus services will be in operation for both lines.
