A man has been assaulted near B&Q in Sidcup.

A 25-year-old man has been taken to hospital with injuries to his face and neck after being attacked by the store in Crittals Corner yesterday (August 25) at around 11.45am.

The man's injuries and not life threatening and Bexley police are investigating the assault.

Police seized a car from B&Q's car park as part of the investigation A police spokesman said: "The incident is not believed to be gang related.

"There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.

"Any witnesses or anyone with any information can call police via 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
