Cyclist dies after falling in Richmond Park

A cyclist who fell from his bike in Richmond Park on Sunday morning has died.

The man, 40, was taken by air ambulance to the Royal London Hospital in critical condition but has since died.

Police were called to the accident in Broomfield Hill, Richmond Park, at about 9.30am on Sunday, August 24, and officers from the Royal Parks command unit are investigating.

It is not thought anyone else was involved in the incident.

His next of kin have been informed.
