A museum's work with young people has earned it a place in the final of a national award.
The Royal Air Force Museum, near Colindale, beat hundreds of entrants to be shortlisted for the London final of the National Apprenticeship Awards 2014.
The museum, in Grahame Park Way, recently started recruiting motor vehicle engineering apprentices, in partnership with Barnet & Southgate College.
There will be new apprenticeships to help support its First World War projects, as part of a programme of commemoration for the RAF centenary in 2018.
The award winners will be announced at a ceremony at City Hall on 23rd September 2014.
