A cute black and white kitten has been taken for rehoming after its owner failed to come forward.

The adorable kitten, thought to be aged three or four months old, was found meowing outside a Raynes Park family's home on Saturday, August 9.

Savannah Williams, 21, has been looking after the kitten but has now taken it to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.

Her mother Mrs Williams said: "She was a beautiful kitten and we tried to find the owner but no-one came forward.

"Savannah was devastated but I can't look after her.

"Battersea guaranteed they would find her a good home."

The domestic short-haired cat had been sleeping in the family's utility room while they searched for the owners.
