Disgraced PR guru Max Clifford was let out of prison to attend his brother Bernard's funeral this afternoon.

Clifford would have been given special permission from the Ministry of Justice to attend the funeral in North East Surrey Crematorium in Morden on Monday, August 18.

Former Merton councillor and mayor of the borough Bernard Clifford died on Wednesday, August 6.

His brother is serving an eight year sentence for a string of sexual assaults on young women and he was escorted to the funeral by a prison guard.
