People flocked to a fun day to raise money for a homelessness charity.

St Peter’s Bourne, a Christian residential centre in Oakleigh Park South, Whetstone, raised £300 for Homeless in Barnet at its Midsummer Madness event.

The event, sponsored by Specsavers, included a range of competitions and family activities.

Jacques Mutevelian, warden at St Peter’s Bourne, says, "We’re thrilled to have raised such a fantastic sum of money, which will help support the work of the HAB Day Centre and support St Peter’s Bourne’s community outreach events. Thanks to everyone who came along and showed their support."
