A 22-year-old has been charged after a fan ran on to the pitch during Saturday's Premier League clash between West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur.

Jordan Matthew Dunn, of The Gateway in Dover, Kent has been charged under Section 4 of the Football Offences Act 1991 after the incident at Upton Park.

A man invaded the pitch during a break in play and struck the ball towards the Spurs goal.

He was bailed to appear at Thames Magistrates' court on September 1.

Tottenham Hotspur beat West Ham United 1-0 with a late goal from Eric Dier.
