Have you ever wanted to volunteer at a place with a rich history? Then Painshill Park has just the opportunity for you.
The 18th century landscape garden currently has many volunteer roles on offer and a recruitment morning will explain how you can get involved and give you a tour of the historic landscape including the crystal grotto.
Potential volunteers will find out from the head gardener about how they could help preserve the historic garden through gardening and general maintenance and other roles, such as becoming steward for the crystal grotto or driving a buggy for guided tours, will also be explained.
Sandra Pearce, volunteer manager, said: "Painshill is a wonderful place to volunteer if you have an interest in historic gardens or you just love being in the great outdoors.
"We are really looking forward to telling people what opportunities are available and showing them around the stunning landscape garden."
The volunteer recruitment morning takes place at the Painshill visitor centre on Wednesday, August 20, at 10.30am For more information, email volunteering@painshill.co.uk or call 01932 868113.
