The Summer Regatta, Gravesend, 10am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday

The enormously popular Channel 5 TV show will come to life for a musical extravaganza that follows preparations and excitement for Milkshake Monkey’s surprise birthday. Sound of the Summer: Nightshift at The Tudor Barn, Eltham, 2pm to 4pm on Sunday

High School Musical at The Woodville, Gravesend, 7.30pm on Saturday

Up to 100 local students aged between 8-18 years old from Centre Stage Theatre Academy grab the chance to perform Disney’s popular High School Musical, and this weekend will showcase all their hard work. Tickets £10 and £15. Go to Woodville.co.uk

Memory of a free festival at Croydon Road Recreation Ground from 1pm to 7pm on Saturday 

This Is Local London: David Bowie appeared at Bromley's first-ever open air concert in 1969

David Bowie and The Beckenham Arts Lab organised a legendary Free Festival 45 years ago and it is being revived again on Saturday in order to raise money to save the bandstand, with performances from people who played on the day, artists from different genres, food and drink and a Bowie tribute. Sadly the free element is a thing of the past and entry costs £5.
