Children and teenagers were inspired to achieve their goals at a free fun day.

The Barnet Group held the Know How event for people aged eight to 19-years-old from disadvantaged backgrounds at Middlesex University, The Burroughs, Hendon.

Organisations including charity Exposure, DJ and MC Academy, Barnet Football Club and Nutmeg held a range of activities throughout the day.

Rapper and poet Mikel Ameen hosted the entertainment, alongside motivational speaker Craig Pinkey.

Upcoming artists, Ccane and Ellen Blane also performed musical numbers throughout the day.

Children who took part in housing agency Barnet Homes’ Aim2Be mentoring project were also presented with certificates on the day.
