A car fractured the side wall of a music shop when it careered into the building.
The black Audi A1 hit a parked van before driving into the side of the North London Music centre at approximately 5.30pm.
The accident resulted in Baker Street being closed for several hours from the junction with Chace Community school, down to Enfield Grammar school, on Silver Street.
Mark Pearson, of Churchbury Road, just off Baker Street said: “I heard a massive bang and I looked out to see this car had smashed into the side of the music shop.
“The car must have been going pretty fast to crack that wall, the building didn’t look safe.”
The driver of the car was treated at the scene by paramedics but there were no serious injuries.
