Four of Richmond’s young musicians have been competing in the country’s biggest street music competition, the Gigs Big Busk.
About 200 young people aged 11 to 25 will pitch up around London, including the two busy Westfield shopping centres.
From Richmond, guitarist Molly Bourne, 14, indie rocker Kieran Collingwood, Ellie Griffiths and German singer Felicitas are competing.
The aspiring musicians up until Saturday, August 9.
The Mayor of London Boris Johnson organised the annual competition hoping the aspiring artists would gain valuable experience, develop their musical abilities and win prizes, including a licence to busk on the tube.
Videos of the performers can be viewed and votes can be made on the website www.gigsbigbusk.com/vote.
