Richmond Council's safeguarding services have been praised in a Local Government Association (LGA) review.
Colleagues from three other London boroughs visited Richmond, along with the LGA, to review the borough's arrangements to protect vulnerable adults from harm.
Staff, including social workers and their managers, were praised for their high quality and skill.
As a result, the council has been invited to share their record with other authorities across the country.
Council cabinet member for adult services Councillor David Marlow said: "We will not rest on our laurels and use the helpful advice we received from our colleagues for making further improvements in the months ahead."
