Children can become police officers for a day at the next Let’s Talk Elmbridge event.

While youngsters clamber in to a police car, parents can find out more about how Elmbridge Council works and give their feedback on services.

Representatives from Surrey County Council and Surrey Police will also be on hand to answer questions while children enjoy other fun activities including cake decorating.

Councillor John O’Reilly, leader of the council, said: "Let’s talk Elmbridge is a great opportunity to bring together residents, service providers and councillors to collectively have a conversation about Elmbridge."

The let’s talk Elmbridge event takes place at the Xcel Leisure Complex, Walton, on Wednesday, August 13, from 11am to 1pm.
