A crow bar wielding thief who stole thousands of pounds worth of goods has been jailed.
Tolga Binbuga, 24, of Riverdale Court, in Enfield, broke into a house in Main Avenue, Enfield and stole a Mercedes car key along with £3,000 worth of electrical goods.
Binbuga pleaded guilty to the burglary, which took place October 5, 2013, and will spend a year behind bars.
CCTV footage revealed that Binbuga had bought the crow bar from a branch of B&Q earlier that day.
He was arrested on October, 28, and was sentenced at Wood Green Crown court.
Detective Constable Rob Delaney of Enfield’s proactive crime unit said: “This investigation would not have been possible without the help from staff at B&Q. With their help we have taken a burglar off the streets of Enfield.”
