A large swathe of grass at a mobile home park caught alight yesterday.

Epsom fire station was called to Holly Lodge mobile home park, off Brighton Road, in Tadworth, at 3.05pm on August 7.

A fireman said they put out the fire on one-and-a-half hectares, the equivalent of one-and-a-half football pitches, and there was no damage to homes or people.

The cause of the blaze has yet to be established.
