Tube lines will be closed for the final weekend of a summer engineering works programme.

On Saturday August 9 and Sunday August 10 there will be now service on the Metropolitan Line between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge while track is replaced.

On the same days there will be no service on the Piccadilly between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge for the work around Ickenham.

Since July 19 there has been no service on the two lines from Rayners Lane to Uxbridge while London Underground has replace 6km of track, points and track drainage.

Transport for London said the work on the Uxbridge branch was carried out during the summer months as it was the quietest tome of the year on the network.

Also on Sunday August 10 there will be no service on the Overground line between Queen's Park and Watford Junction.

Commuters are called to use Bakerloo line between Queen's Park and Harrow & Wealdstone, and replacement buses between Harrow & Wealdstone and Watford Junction.
