A free storytelling show will be popping up in parks around the borough.

Performers Claudia Mernick and Lawrence Mathias, both from Harrow, will be telling stories and singing songs for children from the ages of three to 11 and their families.

There are three show dates announced starting on Tuesday August 19 in Harrow Recreation Ground, then on Thursday August 21 in Pinner Memorial Park, with the final shows taking place in Canons Park on Wednesday August 27.

There will be two performances on each day starting at 2pm and 3.30pm.

Ms Mernick said: “We are delighted to take the shows round these parks."

"Each of these parks has a friends association that works hard to make their parks a lovely place for people to enjoy.

“I have devised this show to promote an appreciation of nature and to celebrate our green spaces."
