People receiving care or support are being asked for their views on the future of a more integrated health and social care system.

Richmond Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has been exploring "outcome based commissioning", meaning what the service achieves rather than how it operates.

Richmond Council, together with the CCG, want patients' views and will hold one-on-one interviews as well as workshops.

Interim chief officer at Richmond CCG Jacqui Harvey said the new way of delivering care would be "less fragmented".

She added: "We will be exploring whether an outcomes based approach to commissioning community services will be effective for Richmond."

Councillor David Marlow said: "We want to give people the best possible chance to remain as independent as possible, for as long as possible."

Those receiving care can call 07763 785977 or 020 7250 8061 to find out how they can get involved.
