Bob Blackman got behind the food counters of Sainsbury’s in Stanmore to learn about food safety and preparation.

He was trained by Carole Singh from the fish counter who gave the representative for Harrow East a few tips about how to best fillet a fish.

The trip to the store was also a chance for the MP to learn about the career opportunities available to people in his constituency.

Earlier this year the supermarket chain was awarded its second Gold Investors in People accreditation, for supporting and helping develop staff skills.
