A hit-and-run driver from Teddington who left a cyclist with a fractured elbow has been fined £1,580 in court.
David Parish, 67, of Langwood Chase, failed to stop after causing the injury to the cyclist in Barnes High Street on November 16 last year.
Parish, who drove a Mercedes A-Class, admitted failing to stop at the scene of an accident but pleaded not guilty to driving without due care and attention.
A trial at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on July 25 found him guilty and the court fined him the significant sum as well as endorsing his driving licence with seven points.
The accident occurred on the junction between the high street and Station Road.
