The air ambulance landed in West Molesey yesterday afternoon after a woman suffered cardiac arrest.
The Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance was called to St Peter’s Cemetery, Hurst Road, shortly after 4.30pm to treat the woman in her 70s, who fell ill in a car near the junction with Hurstfield Road.
South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended and paramedics resuscitated the woman before she was taken by road to Kingston Hospital in a serious condition.
