A man who was found collapsed in his flat after the shop below reported water flooding through the ceiling remains in a critical condition.
Police were called to the property above La Dolce Vita cafe, in Uxbridge Road, Hatch End, shortly after 4pm on Saturday August 2, by the London Fire Brigade.
Firefighters had found a man in his 20s collapsed in the flat and a broken sink which had caused the flooding of the cafe below.
The London Ambulance Service was also called to the scene and the man was taken to hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
Police say they are treating the matter as non-suspicious.
