Two young musicians are competing to be crowned busker of the year in the country’s biggest street music competition.
Gabriella Diaferia, 17, from Highate, and Luke Carey, 19, from Muswell Hill, are both in the running for the award and will be playing live music around the city this week.
Mr Carey, a part-time postman, said his music was inspired and influenced by Ed Sheeran.
He said: “I usually play gigs and things instead of busk, but I thought I’d enter. It’s been fun.”
