Thousands of people turned up to have a look around Twickenham police station for its fourth annual open day on Sunday.
The London Road cop shop flung open its doors for the public to visit and find out more about the work they do.
Events included a demonstration from the mounted branch and dog support as well as the Met's historical car fleet.
Officers also joined in with the fun, raising charity by giving people the chance to "soak a bobby" by throwing wet sponges at police locked in the stocks.
People were able to explore the police station's custody suite, used to keep prisoners until recently.
There was also face painting and finger printing for youngsters.
Rachel Pirie tweeted: "Great morning at Twickenham Police Station yesterday @MPSRichmond my girls loved the horses."
