Children will see their own business ideas become a reality in a Dragons Den style competition over the summer.

Pupils at The Orion Primary School, in Grahame Park Way, Colindale, and Goldbeaters Primary School, Thirelby Road, Edgware, will take part in GoFest.

The annual summer event gives children the chance to take part in unique activities and celebrate their achievements.

Earlier this year, Fairview New Homes raised £600 to support the project as part of the Pulse development, in Colindale.

The construction team and contractors working on the development help a raffle featuring football tickets, a Nintendo 3DS games console and a Fortnum and Mason hamper.

Fairview's area construction manager Stephen Brown said: “Since we began work at Pulse four years ago we have been focused on building a community within Colindale. As an extension of this we wanted to do something to support the wider community so we arranged a raffle in support of the school.

“We were amazed at the generosity of everyone at Pulse. It’s fantastic to see the money raised being put to such good use in the community.”

Pulse is a development of 1,100 apartments next door to Colindale Tube station.
