A 31-year-old man has pleaded guilty to physically assaulting a man in his 20s for racial or religious motivations outside a Wimbledon Waitrose.
Kevin Quigley, of Park Road, Kingston, appeared in Kingston Crown Court yesterday, also charged with possession of throwing knives and an air pistol at the Waitrose in Alexandra Road.
Police were called to the scene at about 10pm on Friday, July 4, but London Ambulance Service did not attend.
Mr Quigley pleaded guilty to all charges.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to return to Kingston Crown Court for sentencing on Monday, August 11.
