Sophie Noon, of, The Green, Welling runs classes at the Harris Academy Falconwood and her class participants range from eight to 63 years old.

Miss Noon and her class of 13 ladies took part in the Blackheath 5km Race for Life and the team all got round the course in under an hour.

The 25-year-old said: "We did extra practising in Danson Park before the race to make sure we were extra prepared.

"The atmosphere on the day was amazing from start to finish.

"Other racers were even cheering us all on too and seemed pretty amazed at our speed and ability with the hoop. We are all very proud.

"We will be entering again with more power hoopers in hopes to raise even more money for such a worthwhile cause."
