artsdepot in North Finchley wants arts and culture lovers aged 65+ to take part in an online survey
Updated 2:55pm Friday 18th July 2014 in News
Are you aged 65 or over? Do you have a love of the arts and cultural activities, but find it difficult to find out what’s going on or to get to events like plays and exhibitions?
artsdepot, the arts centre in North Finchley, is developing a digital membership scheme to encourage greater arts participation by those aged 65 and over. The project recognises that social isolation is a barrier to attending the arts and aims to facilitate connections for the over-65s.
artsdepot and University of the Arts London are currently conducting research to understand more about possible opportunities and challenges older people may encounter when socialising, booking and attending an arts event. This will inform the design of the digital membership scheme, and they want to hear from you.
