Thousands turned out for the area's biggest and best community festival at the weekend - People's Day in Catford.

Dreadzone were the big draw to the main stage on Saturday evening but there were fun and games to be had across Mountsfield Park all day.

There were stages and a range of music from folk, jazz and funk through rock and reggae, with some classical thrown in.

Elsewhere, visitors could learn more about community campaigns, enjoy the smallest cinema in the world, Sol Cinema and even speak to a talking compost heap.

Mayor of Lewisham Sir Steve Bullock said: "People’s Day was once again an amazing day out for everyone. It was tremendous to see so many people enjoying the entertainment, the music and the community spirit of the day.
