A factory worker is preparing to lace up his running shoes and take part in his fifth 10K charity run.
Henry Bedoya, 56, who works in an Italian food factory, hopes to raise £500 for St Joseph's Pastoral Centre in Hendon when he runs the British 10K on Sunday.
The centre prepared his daughter, who has special needs, for her First Holy Communion and Mr Bedoya wants to say a special thank you.
He has been putting himself through a rigorous training schedule, walking to and from work every day, cycling at weekends, running for an hour three times a week and slotting in a 25-minute gym session when he can.
