A bungling thief was left facing bird after stealing £140 from a Nando's employee's rucksack.

Tony Graco, of Crieff Court in Teddington, who is already serving 16 months for a similar offence, was sentenced to four months behind bars after pleading guilty at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on July 1.

The theft happened at the chicken restaurant's Teddington High Street branch on April 20.

Graco, 34, entered the staff area of the restaurant and stole the cash from the victim's rucksack.
