A six-year-old boy was taken to hospital yesterday after being involved in an accident in Leytonstone.

London Ambulance Service were called to Lincoln Street, close to the junction with Marchant Road,at around 8.40am.

A child had suffered head injuries and was taken to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel.

A spokeswoman for LAS said that the child was treated as a priority patient.

Waltham Forest Police claim that a 29-year-old woman was also injured.
