Sutton Council is trying to track down the relatives of soldiers who feature on the Carshalton World War Two memorial.
The council is holding a commemoration service in honour of those who died, and are keen for relatives of the ancestors to be in attendance.
The service will take place at the Carshalton War Memorial Gardens, in Honeywood Walk, Carshalton on August 3.
After the ceremony poppies will be floated on Carshalton Ponds, and the public will be able to view ‘The War to end all Wars’ exhibition at the Honeywood Museum.
August marks 100 years since the outbreak of World War One.
A programme of events across Sutton will honour those who died in the conflict, as well as those who fell in World War Two.
For a full list of names of that feature on the memorial, or if you are a relative of one of the soldiers email: kath.shawcross@sutton.gov.uk
