Find out about the impact of the neighbourhood watch scheme on crime and safety levels at a talk from Sutton's top cop.

Sutton Borough Commander Detective Chief Superintendent Guy Ferguson will give a presentation at the Sutton Neighbourhood Watch Association on Tuesday.

He will speak about the growth of neighbourhood watch membership against a background of falling crime in the borough.

The meeting will also hear from representative from the fire brigade and trading standards.
Neighbourhood watch membership in Sutton has gone from 900 to 4,100 since 2009.

The meeting will take place at Sutton Council's Civic Offices in St Nicholas Way from 7pm.
