A driver arrested on suspicion of killing a motorcyclist has been released on bail.

The motorcyclist, believed to be in his early 30s, was riding a Yamaha motorbike on the A406, Warwick Road, in Bounds Green on Thursday, July 3 when it collided with a grey Mitsubishi pick-up .

The motorcycle then collided with a white van.

London Ambulance Services were called to the scene at 7.05pm and the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene at 7.35pm.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving while under the influence of alcohol.

He was taken into custody at a north London police station and has been bailed until September 12.

Police continue to appeal for witnesses to the incident.

The man is yet to be formally identified and a post-mortem examination is yet to be scheduled.
