Students showed off their creative talents as they presented their work to Epsom’s mayor.
Glyn School, in The Kingsway, Epsom, welcomed Councillor Robert Foote and his wife Rosemary, to their Creative Arts Evening last month.
The couple viewed an exhibition of students’ work which included pieces from their A Level and GCSE art, film studies and Design and Technology coursework, as well as winning entries from a poetry and prose competition, and outside performances in music, poetry and drama.
Students played musical recitals in the glorious sunshine, which included choirs, solo pieces and a ukulele band and drama students performed two humorous short plays and a monologue recital.
Coun Foote praised the pupils for their hard work and creativity and encouraged them to fulfil their dreams.
