A man has appeared in court after a van was stolen in a knifepoint robbery in a Cobham pub car park.
John Stevens, 33, was arrested last week by police investigating the robbery at the Old Bear pub by the River Mole, on May 14.
Mr Stevens, of Stilwell Close, Yateley, Hampshire, was charged with robbery, threatening a person with a bladed article in a public place and possession of class B drugs.
He appeared at Guildford Magistrates' Court on Thursday, July 3, but the case was sent to Guildford Crown Court where he will next appear on July 17.
