A curry house has cooked up a whopping £25,000 for charity by hosting a dinner for a sports academy founded by Paralympic legend David Weir.
Le Raj restaurant, in Fir Tree Road, Epsom Downs, hosted a champagne reception, dinner, auctions and raffle evening last Thursday, June 26.
The evening was held in aid of the Weir Archer Academy, which provides athlete and coaching support for schools, clubs and coaches.
Epsom's MP Chris Grayling attended the ᆪ75-per-head event with his wife Sue, as did Enam Ali, Le Raj's founder.
